Join us for a once in a lifetime event, the Beatification of John Paul II. The ceremony will take place in Rome, celebrated by our Holy Father Benedict XVI
Your pilgimage will begin in Rome where you will visit the major basilicas of St. Paul, St. Mary Major, St. John Lateran and St. Peter's, including the tomb of John Paul the Great!
In addition, you will visit the Holy Stairs, the Pantheon, the Coliseum and Roman Forum, Assisi and much more

Itinerary Details |

Day 1 |
Depart your city for Rome |
| |
|
Day 2 |
Arrive in Rome, a YIE representative will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. If time permits, you will visit St. Mary Major and Santa Prassede. |

| |
|
Day 3 |
Today we will visit St. Paul's outside the Walls, St. John Lateran, the Holy Stairs that Jesus ascended in Jerusalem when on trial. We will also visit San Clemente, a fascinating look at the history of Rome over 2,200 years. We will conclude after seeing the Coliseum and Roman Forum. |

Day 4 |
Morning bus to Assisi to spend time in the home of St. Francis and St. Claire. We will visit the Basilicas of San Rufino and St. Claire, as well as the Temple of Minerva in the main piazza. |

|
|
Day 5 |
Visit the basilica and Tomb of St. Francis and the basilica of Our Lady of the Angels which houses the Portiuncula. Bus back to Rome. |

Day 6 |
Visit St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Museums before walking through ancient Rome to Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain |

Day 7 |
Visit the Catacombs this morning, afternoon preparation for the following day... |

Day 8 |
Attend the Beatification of Pope John Paul the Great!!!!!! |

Day 9 |
Depart Rome for your city, or stay on as long as you would like |
