Days in the Diocese (15 day package)

This four day program in the local dioceses preceding World Youth Day is an opportunity to experience the hospitality and universality of the Church.  Your group will be hosted by a parish and cared for by its people.  In exchange, you have the chance to share your faith and culture with them. In so many ways, this program embodies the pilgrim spirit: detachment, charity, generosity, simplicity, community. At this time we are recommending the dioceses of Caceres, Santiago, Valencia, and Toledo

Aug 10th Depart your city for your host diocese

Aug 11th Arrive in host diocese and settle into host parish.

Aug 12th Days in the Diocese festivities (usually a social justice theme)

Aug 13th Days in the Diocese festivities (usually a Diocesan wide event)

Aug 14th Final Days in the Diocese events

Aug 15th Transfer to Madrid, check into chosen lodging, evening free depending on transfer time

Aug 22nd-23rd Free days in Madrid or surrounding day trips

Aug 24th Depart Madrid for your home city
